Raj Jutley

Mr Raj Jutley BMedSci (Hon) MB ChB DM FRCSGlas (C-Th)
Chairman, Trustee Board

Mr Jutley is a consultant cardiac surgeon in UK.  He was born and raised in Kenya before training in UK.  He founded Africa Heart Foundation in Sheffield in 2007 and Pan Africa Heart Foundation PANAHF in 2008.  He leads the charity mission's surgical team and has an interest in developing cardiac surgery services in Africa and training of surgeons.

Tosin Idowu

Tosin Idowu BMedSci BPharm

Tosin is currently a graduate entry medical student. She joined the PANAHF board of trustees in 2010. She chose to work with PANAHF because she believes that training and retention of healthcare professionals in sub-Saharan Africa is vital to provision of quality health services in the continent.

Martin Dance has been appointed PANAHF's official photographer and joined the team during October 2011 Mission, Nairobi, Kenya.

PANAHF Kenya Representative

Del joins PANAHF having had experience of heart surgery in his close family member who had rheumatic heart valve disease. With successful surgery the member was restored to a normal life so Del felt he should give the same chance to the less privileged.

Laura Tunstall

Laura is a UK-based cardiac scrub nurse and a long standing core team member of PANAHF. She has participated in numerous missions in Kenya.

Harveen Bansal

Harveen joins PANAHF in an administrative capacity and in charge of delivering the PANAHF HeartHealth screening program.

Barbara is an ardent supporter of PANAHF having adopted it as her international charity to support. Barbara is a health columnist and author. She is also an advisor on nutrition to schools, the media and people involved in a variety of different sports.

African Steps is a UK-based charity that works in partnership with St Peter’s Hospital, Likomo Island, Malawi. The charity has a challenging task of improving healthcare delivery and has partnered with PANAHF to deliver on the surgical and nursing front.

Kabarak University

Kabarak University

Kabarak University is a chartered university established in 2000. Its mission is to provide a holistic quality education to the youth, equipping them with knowledge, practical skills and Christian moral values necessary for the service of God and Humanity. PANAHF has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kabarak University to develop undergraduate programmes.
